Philippians 2:19-30: Week Seven

Welcome to Week Seven!

This week I thought it would be nice to begin with a hymn.

Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of thy love -
leading onward, leading homeward, to that glorious rest above!

 Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus - spread his praise from shore to shore!
How he loves us, ever loves us, changes never, nevermore!
How he watches o'er his loved ones, died to call them all his own;
how for them he's interceding, watching o'er them from the throne!

Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best!
'Tis an ocean vast of blessing, 'tis a haven sweet of rest!
Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus - 'tis heaven of heavens to me;
and it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to thee!

Philippians 2:12-18: Week Six

Hi there Lovely Ladies!

This week we'll start with  Psalm 8:

 

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory above the heavens.

Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes,

to still the enemy and the avenger.

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,

the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings

and crowned him with glory and honor.

You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet,

all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,

the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
